Project Description
Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects recently completed a Space Needs Study for 13 departments within the City of Fayetteville government. Throughout the past 30 years, the city has aggressively annexed immediately surrounding areas which has drastically increased the population served and thus city staff levels. The Study forecasted potential staff levels through the year 2040 and developed uniform space standards to establish current and future space needs. Stewart-Cooper-Newell assisted in developing an additional short-term 10 year plan for meeting the immediate space needs within City Hall through relocation of two departments and reorganization of the remaining staff.
The project consisted of alterations to Fayetteville City Hall’s third floor which included: new offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and lobby spaces all within the existing building footprint.
