Project Description

SCNA provided services for the design of the City of Burlington’s new fire station. The City provided surveying and site design services on an undeveloped piece of property.

The City desired to incorporate energy efficiency elements of the LEED process into the design to minimize the life cycle cost of the Fire Station.

This station emphasis on sustainability includes solar water heaters, high insulation values, increased natural day lighting with appropriate shading devices, enhanced lighting and HVAC controls. The City required the following features: three drive-through bays and training room.
