Project Description

Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects worked side-by-side with the Gaston County Commissioners and staff to implement this comprehensive Space Needs Assessment and create a Master Plan for a Judicial and Governmental campus.

To date, each element of the plan has been implemented, including a new Courthouse, Sheriff’s Office, Jail, and Department of Social Services Building. The City of Gastonia built their new Police Headquarters adjacent to the campus, and SCN Architects assisted with this facility as well.
